Emma Lyth

Emma is a costume designer and textiles artist for theatre and dance.

She trained at London College of Fashion gaining a Distinction in her Masters in Costume for Performance in 2018. She has a keen interest in costume breakdown and dyeing and exploring how textiles techniques can add layers of history to costume to enrich their story telling abilities.

Emma is also interested in the connection between costume and the performing body and how these two art forms can influence each other. With her BA in Contemporary Dance gained in 2001 from London Contemporary Dance School she finds herself in a  unique position to be able to approach both mediums in a connected way.

For all enquires please contact Emma using the form on the contact page. She is always interested to hear from other creatives about collaborative projects!
